American Indian Education Program

The American Indian Education Program includes a Parent Committee which is made up of parents of American Indian students in the district. We welcome new faces and encourage collaboration to achieve a thriving community to help us support our native children and community.

The Ethel Curry American Indian Leadership Scholarship (ECS) is an annual award program administered by the MN Dept of Education and Office of Indian Education. This scholarship is intended to aid American Indian students in their pursuit of higher education opportunities.

For your child to be included in the Title VI program count, Hopkins will need a completed Indian Education (506) Form on file. These forms generate program funding for your child and all the Native American students attending Hopkins Public Schools. Completed forms should be sent to your child's school or to the Office of Innovation, Design and Learning.
