Colleen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications at State University of New York in New Paltz, NY. Colleen later made the move to Minnesota and attended St. Cloud State University where she received her initial teaching license in Special Education for students with Emotional Behavioral Disorders. Shortly after, Colleen attended the University of MN in order to complete her Vocational license as a Work Experience Coordinator. She continued to complete her Master's in Education at the University of MN in Work, Family and Community Education, while also receiving her Work Based Learning and Career Accommodation Specialist endorsements.
Colleen has been a Work Experience Coordinator and Transition Lead for Hopkins School District since 2001.
