Fall Festival is tomorrow, Saturday, October 27th from 9:00am-11:30am.  We are still needing volunteers. This event is FREE, all Meadowbrook families are invited to attend, and the kids are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes! Dr. E-B will be serving her famous pancakes in the Cafeteria from 9:00am-11:00am. This is a free breakfast, donations welcome!  There will be games, arts and crafts, face painting, and more in the Gym and outside (weather permitting) from 9:00am-11:00am, ending with a Costume Parade in the Gym. We need many volunteers to make this event happen. Please volunteer your time and talent if you are able, sign up here:

School Picture Retakes are scheduled for Friday, November 9th from 9:35am-Noon for those students who were absent on picture day or for families choosing retakes.  If you need an order form we have some in the office.  Reminder slips will be sent home next week.  If you are needing retakes, please make sure to return the original picture packet to school with your child on retake day to ensure the correct order is printed for their retake picture.  For those of you ordering online; Picture Day ID:  MI298137Y1

Service Night is Friday, November 16.  Look for the Donation Request flyer in your child's backpack and drop off your donations at the front office starting next week. The night of the event, dinner will be served in the cafeteria for a small fee from 5:30pm-6:15pm.  The gymnasium will be open from 6:00pm-7:30pm with over a dozen community service stations supporting many great causes! Come and decorate bags and create cards. Pack candy & goodies, dog food, and supplies for PRISIM. Play plinko with your extra change for Give A Goat. Learn CPR/AED use from our awesome GV firefighters. And MORE! All ages welcome.  If you would like to help the night of the event or have questions, please contact Leah Persky at or Angela Johnson at Also, look for a sign-up genius next week. If you plan to attend the event, no need to sign up-- Just come with your family, volunteer and enjoy!

Would you like to drive a bus for field trips? Due to a shortage of bus drivers, Meadowbrook needs bus drivers willing to drive a school bus for field trips.  Parents or friends should apply to the bus company, MTI,   The great news is the bus company will train you and help you get your bus license… AND you can specify that you only want to drive for Meadowbrook field trips! And you will get paid. We are very excited about this possibility.
