Jeremy began teaching in the Hopkins Public Schools in 2011. He earned a B.A. degree in biology from Wartburg College and his teaching license in 2009 and Master's degree in 2012 from the University of Minnesota. Jeremy began teaching Spanish-immersion science Hopkins North's Juntos program in 2013. He has also coached volleyball and the science quiz bowl during his time at Hopkins North Junior High. Jeremy also joined the Gifted and Talented department at North in 2014 and the AVID staff in 2016.
In his spare time, Jeremy can often be seen wandering aimlessly through his vegetable garden, herding his three cats, or teaming up with his daughter to challenge his wife to a Lego building contest.
