North Junior High students got a taste of the talent at their school during the variety show March 22. And it wasn’t just the students. From singers and dancers to jugglers and even a harpist, students and staff alike got in on the action.

Twin Cities resident Iris Tzafrir shared the story of her parents, both survivors of the Holocaust, with North Junior High eighth-graders to spread a message of compassion and acceptance.

North AVID 9 students present service night projects

Students researched and presented on topics that were both interesting and also opportunities for them to make a positive impact. Projects were wide reaching, focusing on health and wellbeing, cultural diversity and inclusion, and educational material.
