Mr. Williams began teaching at Hopkins High School in the ‘83-‘84 school year. He has a passion for teaching and learning, and for curriculum and instruction. As a language arts classroom teacher he has taught a variety of courses including Faces of Conflict, Shakespeare, Short Story, Perspectives in American Literature, and Technical Writing. During his tenure at HHS David has been the Artistic Director for over 25 main stage theatrical productions, coached sophomore baseball, facilitated Choice Theory workshops for students and staff, served as a Dean of Students, and been a teacher on special assignment as the Coordinator of Administrative Services for Hopkins High School. David has an M.Ed. from the University of Minnesota in Curriculum and Instruction.
