Class reunion raises $1,300 for Hopkins High School

January 08, 2013

Class reunions are a great way to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about fun times and...raise money for great causes? The Hopkins High School class of 2002 saw their ten-year reunion as an opportunity to raise money for the Clear Spots Initiative and the Hopkins High School Angel Fund.

The Clear Spots Initiative provides students and families mobile hotspots that allow students and families without internet access, a wireless mobile hotspot to bring to their home and complete work or class research. The Hopkins High School Angel Fund is a general fund assisting students in paying for field trips, after school activities, and clubs.

The Class of 2002 was able to sell nearly 150 raffle tickets and raised $1,300 for these great causes. The alumni want to make the reunion raffle an annual event and hope other class reunions will join in the generous giving.
