Cindy Anderson began working in Hopkins Public Schools in 1999 as a second grade Learning Resource Teacher and has been at Glen Lake since 2006. After teaching third grade and kindergarten she moved to second grade in 2011.
Tracey Beaverson has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2008. For 8 years she taught 5th and 3rd grades at Alice Smith Elementary and for 2 years she taught 3rd grade at Meadowbrook Elementary.
Kathy Bouten has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1998. For the first 20 years of her career she worked as an elementary teacher at Eisenhower Elementary teaching grades 2-5. Then she transitioned to a role as a literacy coach for the past two years. Mrs. Bouten is excited to now be back in the classroom.
Dee joined Glen Lake Elementary in 2012; she previously worked as a School Counselor in the Minneapolis and Anoka-Hennepin school districts. Prior to her work in schools, she spent eight years as a family therapist in the northern metro.
Harald Faber has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2002. For 4 years he taught in the special education department at Hopkins High School and for 10 years in the special education department at Tanglen Elementary school.
Lara Hammer earned her B.A. in Spanish and Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. She studied abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico and in Mérida, Venezuela and focused on South American literature.
Colette Kastner started her teaching career in the Hopkins Public Schools in 2006. In Hopkins, she has taught 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade and currently is job-sharing 3rd grade and serves as an Elementary Digital Learning Coach.
Emilie Lottman has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools as a special education teacher since 2013. Upon receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Luther College, she completed her student teaching experience in 2012 at various Hopkins schools in a variety of roles.
