Entertainment from last year's Celebration of Cultures event!
February 03, 2017
Celebration of Cultures Potluck Dinner

Families are invited to our annual Celebration of Cultures on Thursday, February 16 from 6:00 – 7:15pm. For several years our community has come together, welcoming each other with alluring foods, family recipes, and conversation.

Please bring a dish to share and converse with your family and neighbors in the gym. Ben Dustman, as DJ Mesa, will provide dance music for students as the dinner and conversation wind down.

Enjoy hallway art created by every child. Children met in their dens (Den Day) to develop their understanding of family traditions around games, foods and cultural celebrations in their families. Every child has shared information about a family tradition in words and picture.

The Book Fair is coming, March 6-9, 2017!

If you would like to volunteer for this fun event please visit our Signup Genius site at  Book Fair

Imagination Fair – Thursday, March 9. 5:30 – 7:00pm

Imagine what we could learn if we all came together for one day and shared our best inventions, ideas, experiments and knowledge. Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, we invite the tech enthusiasts, crafters, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, experimenters, authors, artists and more. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. All classrooms will visit the Imagination Fair during the school day and then families are invited back that evening for the Book Fair & Imagination Fair. A flyer with detailed information and an application is listed under our Electronic Backpack. To participate, fill out the application and return to your teacher.  All projects should be brought to school the morning of March 9. Please note this is a late start day. All participants will receive an Outstanding Achievement ribbon. Applications received before March 1 will be entered to win STEM prizes, including a Fire Tablet.
