Hopkins Public Schools, in partnership with Hopkins One Voice Coalition, is hosting a community-wide, free screening of the award-winning documentary, Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age, March 28 at 6:30 p.m., at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.

The Hopkins Visual Arts Show will run from Feb. 22 to March 28 at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. The exhibit will feature student art work from all schools in the Hopkins district in grades K-12.

Glen Lake Elementary chooses principal

Jeff Radel has officially been named principal of Glen Lake. Radel has been with Hopkins since 2008, teaching third- and fifth-grade at Meadowbrook. He accepted the position of interim principal for the 2016-17 school year late last summer.

Empty Bowls fundraiser sets $80,000 goal to help neighbors in need

Nearing the two-decade mark, the annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser sets its sights on 19-year total of $1.1 million. Preparations are well under way for the March 7 event at Hopkins Center for the Arts.
