Gatewood Math Masters Competition

Four teams of 6th grade Gatewood G/T math students competed at the Math Masters Competition in Chaska on March 3rd. There were 31 teams comprised of over 150 students, and the team of Rhys Cords, Quinn Ingham, Linda Kariniemi, Gavin Lorinser and Alex Lund took seventh place in the team competition! Way to go Gators!!

Scholastic Book Fair

Mark your calendar for the next Scholastic Book Fair taking place Wednesday April 5 - Friday April 7. This book fair is buy-one-get-one-free! Hopkins Youth Chess Tournament

Join us for the 1st ever Hopkins Youth Chess tournament! All kids will play in 5 games, get a pizza/drink lunch and receive a prize! Kids will be split by ability levels into various tournament groups. Check in from 8:30-9:00 a.m. Tourney runs 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eisenhower Elementary Cafeteria. $29. K-9th grade.

Art Studio - Emoji Craze!

You've texted them, now you can paint and sculpt them! This 3-week session will be all about your favorite emojis or creating new ones! Now you can make emojis with your own style and flair in this super fun class! Your emojis will be painted real canvas boards, and sculpted with clay -all ready for display after each class! Wed. March 29 and April 5. 4:05-5:05 p.m. $29. K-5th grade.
