VirtualEDU Information Session

We have a space for your child at VirtualEDU! Now your child in grades K-12 can learn in the way that's best for them — either fully online or our new blended learning option. In both models, your child will learn in an affirming environment where they can move at their own pace and challenge themselves through deeper exploration, relevant experiences, and strong friendships and teacher relationships.

Blended learning (online + in-person) is here!

Our blended learning option offers your child enhanced social interaction along with the flexibility that online learning provides.Blended learning students learn in person 2 days a week, and online 3 days a week. In person learning occurs at the Hopkins East Building located at 5300 Glenwood Ave, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

Fully online learning pathway

VirtualEDU provides a fully online learning option for students who flourish in this setting. Our fully online model offers a closely connected school community, in-person meetups, and flexible options in a dynamic learning environment. Online students start and end their days in community together.

Why VirtualEDU

We get you! For children who need support and a nurturing, identity affirming school environment, your child will thrive at Hopkins VirtualEDU. We are committed to providing the flexibility and support your child needs to reach their full potential.

Our smaller class sizes, multiage classes, and strong teacher-student relationships allow for a deeply personalized learning approach that meets your student where they are at and guides them to advance.

We are different from other online schools. Your child will not be in isolation working through modules. We build community through social meetups and a variety of interaction both virtual and in-person. Your child will start and end each day in community with their teacher and their class.

Your child can dive deeper and take on new challenges or stay on a topic until they feel ready to move forward. Real-world project based learning with a social-change focus lets students pursue their passions, develop their talents, and reach their full potential.
