New students welcomed into houses at annual Sorting Ceremony

Balloons, confetti, applause, and excitement made the House Sorting Ceremony at Glen Lake Elementary one to remember! All new students—including every kindergartener—were welcomed into one of the four houses: Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, or Reveur.

One by one, students popped a balloon to reveal their house based on the color of the confetti inside. The students will build relationships across grade levels with their house family throughout the year. The house system fosters teamwork, community, character development and more.

But, no matter what house they are sorted into, they are part of ONE Glen Lake community!
