Hopkins School Board to host comprehensive training session on June 13

Are you interested in making Vision 2031 a reality for all Hopkins scholars? Do you want to serve your community and your school district? Becoming a school board member puts you at the center of our district and allows you to move forward an innovative vision that ensures every student is empowered to make the world a better place. This is an exciting time for Hopkins Public Schools — and we need your vision, leadership and energy!

The Hopkins School Board will be offering a comprehensive training session for those interested in learning about becoming part of the school board. The Hopkins School Board and Superintendent Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed will present the roles and duties required of the position. You are encouraged to attend this training to see if becoming a board member is right for you. The community will vote on four board seats in November 2023.

The training session will be held on June 13, 2023 from 6 to 7 p.m. The session will also be live streamed on YouTube. The link will be available on our website at this link: https://www.hopkinsschools.org/district/school-board
