Hopkins High School Orchestra Presents Spotlight Concert Featuring R&B Vocalist Ashley DuBose
HHS Spotlight 2024

The Hopkins High School Orchestra is proud to announce its upcoming Spotlight Concert, scheduled for February 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Hopkins High School. The concert will feature R&B vocalist and former The Voice contestant, Ashley DuBose.

In preparation for this event, DuBose is working with the Hopkins orchestra and select choir students over the next few weeks, bringing her expertise and passion for music to the rehearsals.

Collaborating with a professional artist provides an invaluable opportunity for students. Through this partnership, they will not only refine their musical skills but also gain insights into performance techniques, stage presence, and the importance of teamwork and communication in a musical ensemble.

DuBose joins a list of musicians who have performed as part of the Spotlight Orchestra Concert. Previous years have included Jeremy Messersmith and Chris Koza. Tickets for the concert are $8 for adults and $5 for non-Hopkins students.
