Honoring Holocaust Remembrance Day: Manny Gabler Shares His Story at Hopkins High School

Hopkins High School had the honor of hosting Manny Gabler, a Holocaust survivor, who spoke to our scholars last week in observation of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. The event was organized by Sam Badzin, a senior at Hopkins and an intern for StandWithUs, an organization that helps to combat misinformation and fight antisemitism.

Manny shared his experiences with our scholars and emphasized the importance of hearing firsthand accounts from Holocaust survivors, especially as time goes on and there are fewer opportunities to do so. We are thankful that Manny was able to share his story with us and are proud of Sam for organizing the event!
