Blended students learn all things hydroponics at VEDU
VirtualEDU has partnered with the University of Minnesota 4-H STEM program to bring hands-on learning to our Blended students. This week, they kicked off an incredible project-based learning hydroponics experience, planting seeds for arugula, bok choy, collard greens, and microgreens.
In the coming weeks, students will work with the UMN to set up metal racks and lighting for a full hydroponic setup.
This partnership is an exciting opportunity for our students to engage deeply in sustainable gardening and the science behind hydroponics—just one example of the hands-on, project-based learning happening at VirtualEDU.
