Hopkins Education Foundation
Investing in our children, investing in our future.
The Hopkins Education Foundation (HEF) directly connects the resources of many generous parents, staff, alumni, residents, and business partners with educators and scholars to preserve excellence and enrich opportunities in the Hopkins School District. Since 1995, HEF has awarded more than $3.6 million and 600+ grants to prepare Hopkins scholars to succeed in the 21st century.

The Hopkins Education Foundation partners with the Hopkins Public School community to enrich all students with new learning experiences and resources.
Hopkins Education Foundation, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), is independent from Hopkins Public School District and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. HEF is dedicated to providing resources for educational innovations and enhancements for the success of our scholars.
Support for the Foundation comes entirely through community contributions, including:
- Parents, caregivers, and other community members
- Corporate contributions
- Fundraising events and projects
- Gifts of stock, cash, and securities
- Declaring the Foundation as a beneficiary of wills and estates
Each year, grant applications from staff and students are reviewed by the Foundation's Grant committee. Grants are awarded to teachers and students throughout the district for innovative and experiential learning and resources as well as funding district-wide programs and initiatives.
