Hopkins Education Foundation
Investing in our children, investing in our future.
The Hopkins Education Foundation (HEF) directly connects the resources of many generous parents, staff, alumni, residents, and business partners with educators and scholars to preserve excellence and enrich opportunities in the Hopkins School District. Since 1995, HEF has awarded more than $3 million and 490+ grants to prepare Hopkins scholars to succeed in the 21st century.
Learn more about HEF by visiting hopkinseducationfoundation.org.
If you have questions about HEF, upcoming events, applying for a grant, or how to get involved, email HEF@HopkinsSchools.org, or call 952-988-4097.
The Hopkins Education Foundation partners with the Hopkins Public School community to enrich all students with new learning experiences and resources.
HEF's non-profit Foundation, independent from Hopkins Public Schools, is dedicated to providing resources for educational innovations and enhancements for the success of our scholars. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
Support for the Foundation comes entirely through community contributions, including:
- Parents and other community members
- Corporate contributions
- Fundraising events and projects
- Gifts of stock, cash, and securities
- Declaring the Foundation as a beneficiary of wills and estates
Each year, grant applications from teachers and staff are reviewed by the Foundation. Funds are allocated to programs at individual schools as well as to pilot projects that can be incorporated throughout the District. Thanks to your support, HEF has granted more than $3 million to schools in the Hopkins School District!
