As graduation approaches, we’re celebrating members of the Class of 2026 and the journeys that have shaped their futures.
For Sarah Yahia, that journey has been shaped by a deep curiosity about the world and the people in it. Having grown up speaking multiple languages, Sarah developed an early appreciation for different cultures and global perspectives. Her passion has been further shaped through travel and experience. Visits to countries around the world gave her the opportunity to see new cultures firsthand and deepened her interest in how people and nations connect.
At Hopkins, Sarah found opportunities to turn that curiosity into purpose. In addition to AP history courses that strengthened her academic interests, she credits teachers like Ms. Hubbell, Ms. Heimlich, and Ms. Miller for supporting her learning and guiding her through the college process.
This fall, Sarah will attend Northwestern University to study international studies and political science, with aspirations in diplomacy. She looks forward to continuing her journey, expanding her perspective, and making a meaningful impact on the world. Congratulations, Sarah!
