Hopkins pride was at a fever pitch on Friday, Oct. 6, as the Royals marked the culmination of Homecoming Week at a pep fest in the Lindbergh Center.

The Royals celebrated all week with themes like Pajama Day, Twinning Day, Jersey Day, USA Day, and Class Colors Friday. The title of homecoming royalty was passed down to newly-crowned senior king Antonio Suarez and queen Shaquanda Young. And dance troupes like Deeply Royal and the Royelles, and a combination performance by the Hopkins football team and cheerleaders entertained the student body.

Under the Friday night lights, the Royals faced off against the Cadets from St. Thomas Academy. Both teams put up a fight, but Hopkins came out on top with an exciting last-minute win, with a score of 21-19. Homecoming week came to a close on Saturday, Oct. 7 with the dance.
