Hopkins Royal Productions will present the spring production of The Diviners on May 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. in the Hopkins High School Little Theater.

The play follows the story of a troubled young man and his friendship with a disenchanted preacher in southern Indiana during the early 1930s.

More than 40 Hopkins students are working as actors, stage managers, and production crew to make this production possible.

“This moving play requires emotional maturity and focus from our students,” said Natalie Foster, Royal Productions director. “Their energy and commitment really brings this production to life. The Diviners has been on my bucket list for over 15 years, and I’m excited to present this play with our talented cast and crew and share it with the Hopkins community."

Tickets are available at the door. The cost of a ticket will be $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for Hopkins students with an ID. The content of the play is for mature audiences.
