Lia Harel is a self-proclaimed avid environmental activist.

As a senior in high school, Lia is already making her voice heard at the state level. She knows her generation will bear the consequences of climate change, so she works tirelessly to make sure that the future is one where everyone can thrive. She has already testified in front of state and local legislators, been interviewed on NPR, and has partnered with numerous organizations to be a leading advocate for Minnesota's New Green Deal. Lia's determination is an inspiration for anyone who strives to follow their passion—and we are thankful she is working to ensure there is a future where anyone can achieve their goals.
