Due to the National Weather Service’s high confidence in tomorrow’s forecast, which calls for 1 inch of snow per hour during the morning commute and continuing through the evening, we made the decision to cancel school for Wednesday, February 20. The amount of snow forecasted will significantly impact our bussing and our ability to safely transport students to school. As part of this closure, there will be no Kids & Company, Stepping Stones, Stay & Explore, or Kaleidoscope Preschool. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Early Childhood Special Education classes are cancelled. Staff are not to report. Afternoon activities are canceled.

A favorite Friday night activity each fall is the service night at Meadowbrook Elementary. Together, staff, students, families, and community members packed over a ton of product for PRISM, and hundreds of other items for local organizations.
Students celebrate Native American Heritage Month during C2. They shared the importance of honoring Native American culture and languages as they read a Territorial Acknowledgement of the land our school sits on.
As an incentive to get people to polls this November, we launched a campaign around early voting, dubbed the #HopkinsVotesEarly campaign. Early voters were entered into a drawing for a prize basket. See who won!
