Adult Options seeks black caps & gowns

December 04, 2008

Adult Options in Education is seeking donations of black graduation caps and gowns—baccalaureate or master's—for its graduates.

Each spring, adult graduates, from 17-years-old to senior citizens, walk across the stage at Hopkins Center for the Arts and celebrate a major life accomplishment, earning a general education development (GED) degree through Adult Options in Education. Black graduation caps and gowns, which will be re-used every year, are needed for these graduates.

Please send to or drop off caps and/or gowns at the Eisenhower Community Center, Room 225, 1001 Highway 7, Hopkins, MN 55305.

For additional information, please call 952-988-5342, or send an email.

This spring's graduation ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Admission is free.
