In-District Transfer Application

If you live in the District but you want your child to attend a Hopkins school outside of your assigned attendance area, you must complete an In-District Transfer Request Form. Families of in-district transfer scholars are responsible for providing their own school transportation.

Applications will be reviewed by the Administrative Services department and building principals. Among their considerations are current class sizes at the requested school, sibling preference, and availability of services. We welcome you to submit an In-District Transfer Application

Although the Jan. 16 due date for the initial placement process for the 2024-25 school has passed, you are welcome to apply for an In-District Transfer.

Families who submitted applications by the deadline will be contacted with placement information in mid-February.

Kindergarten Families

After you receive confirmation that your In-District Transfer request is approved, you will need to submit a K-12 student enrollment form to finalize your student's enrollment.
