Calling all global learners — welcome to Hopkins Public Schools Chinese and Spanish immersion programs

We welcome you to apply for the 2026-27 school year!

Upcoming 2026-27 school year:  The January 15 application deadline for the upcoming 2026-27 school year has passed; however we continue to accept applications. Applications submitted after this date will be placed on the waitlist in the order received. Families will receive application updates beginning in early March.  

• All applications received by the January 15, 2026 deadline you will hear from us by email with placement offers by February 15, 2026.  If you receive an offer, please follow the email instructions to accept your space by March 1, 2026.  Confirming your placement by this date is very important. 

Current 2025-26 school year: As of January 15, 2026, all of our schools have waitlists for the current school year. Your child's name will be added to the waitlist in order of your application submission date.

If you are interested in enrolling your student in immersion after kindergarten, please note: Immersion enrollment after kindergarten requires administrative approval and is approved if space is available. For more information, contact Carolina.Lloyd@HopkinsSchools.org.
