About the Event
The Black Male Summit was created to support and empower young Black males in grades 6-12 in Hopkins Public Schools and the surrounding suburbs. Many of the Black males in our districts have had to deal with COVID, racial trauma, and death of peers. This is in an unapologetic event dedicated to young men who don’t feel heard or supported by society as a whole. It’s also an opportunity for growth and development as they engage in sessions by impactful Black male leaders from the metro area.
