Overview

The Hopkins School Board and Administration are conducting a comprehensive study of the elementary program  Over the course of the summer months, the administration developed an outline of the study parameters and a timeline. 

The purpose of this study will be to proactively review the elementary school program and schedule, keeping in mind the desire to provide optimal student learning and achievement within the resources available to the school district.

Recommendations

The study will take place over the 2010-11 school year.  Once it is completed, recommendations will be presented to the superintendent and the school board.  

Committee Members 

The committee comprises approximately 40 members; the group includes elementary staff members, parents, and administrators.

As part of the study, the school district's adminstration will be conducting surveys and focus groups with parents and community members.  Further information will be forthcoming.
