Hopkins School District #270

Hopkins is one of few school districts in the state of Minnesota that provides a counselor at every building, K-12.  They work to provide each student in Hopkins Public Schools the support needed—whether that be academic, personal/social, or post-secondary planning—to succeed in school and in the world beyond Hopkins.

School Social Workers enhance the academic mission by providing services for students that strengthen home, school, and community partnerships.

Every school office is staffed by a Licensed School Nurse who collaborates with students, families, staff and community partners to promote student health for academic success.

DAPE is a branch of special education that helps students with disabilities be successful in Physical Education and recreational activities.

The Speech Language Pathologist role is to evaluate for eligibility and serve students with language disabilities.
