Mrs. Lynette Arneson joined Tanglen Elementary in October 2008 as the Technology Support Paraprofessional. Lynette began working in Technology Support in 2004 at an Elementary School in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.

Kevin attended high school in Melrose, Minnesota, and is a 1989 graduate of Bemidji State University. After graduation he spent a year in Albert Lea, Minnesota, teaching 5th grade. Since the 1990 school year he has been a 6th grade teacher for the Hopkins School District.

Lisa Becker has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1992, after she earned an Elementary Education degree from Augsburg College.

Donna Beyer has worked in the Tanglen Media Center since 2002.

Pam Bonham has been at Tanglen since 2000. In addition to her current fourth grade assignment, she has taught in the EBD compass program as well as the Learning Center.

I have a Master’s degree in Family Education from the University of Minnesota and 10 years of experience working with families.

Stephanie graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University.

Lynn Erstad has been teaching kindergarten in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2006. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Minor from MN State University in Mankato and her Masters in Education from the College of St. Scholastica.

Harald has been in the Hopkins Public Schools 2002. Prior to arriving at Hopkins, Harald work as a special education teacher in the Osseo School District. He currently works in the Tanglen Learning Center for students with special needs.

Jon Fox has worked as a School Social Worker in the Hopkins School District since 1991.

Susan Gruidl has been working in Hopkins School District since 1992.

Jill Heath has been teaching 1st grade at Tanglen Elementary for over 20 years.

Sharon Holle has been working in the Tanglen Elementary School office since 2002. Sharon is also a graduate of the Hopkins Public Schools.

Dani Hovanetz graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 2002.

Kimberly obtained her Bachelors, Masters and Specialist degrees all from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Colette Kastner has been teaching 2nd grade at Tanglen Elementary School since the fall of 2007. She also taught one year of 4th grade at Glen Lake Elementary School.

Steve received his BS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in 1989. He began his Hopkins teaching career in 1991, teaching grade 5/6 at Glen Lake Elementary.

Genny graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She taught in the Minneapolis School District for six years and has worked in the Hopkins School District since 1989. Genny has been a kindergarten teacher at Tanglen since 2004.

Donna Krisch has been working in the Hopkins School District since 1994. Since 1999 she has taught Kindergarten, 3rd Grade, and 4th Grade at Tanglen Elementary.

Mary LaBelle has been a Challenge teacher at Tanglen since 1988.

Mrs. Ley graduated from Eastern University which is outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She taught music one year at a charter school in Eden Prairie and then came to Hopkins School District.

Ms. Lovagnini currently is a Title 1 teacher at Tanglen.

Kim Mach has worked at Tanglen since 1990.

Karen began with the Hopkins School District in 1992 at Hopkins High School as a paraprofessional in the Science department for 11 years. She has been the Administrative Assistant at Tanglen since the fall of 2003.

Joe has been working with the Hopkins Public Schools since 2011. He works on the playground at Tanglen and at the before and after school Kids and Company program at Eisenhower.

Kathy Mommsen has been teaching in the Hopkins Schools since 1998. She taught ceramics at the high school for 9 years and has been teaching at Tanglen since 2008.

Wendy has been involved with Education for over 30 years.  She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, and has taught in both Edina and Hopkins during her teaching career. Her experience includes working as a classroom teacher, Learning Resource Teacher, Title 1 teacher, and has worked in the area of special education.

Nicole Nolen attended the Hopkins School District, graduating from Hopkins High School. She then attended the College of St. Catherine and got her B.A. in Education and Spanish. She has been employed in the Hopkins District for about 10 years, teaching Kindergarten and First Grade.

Phyllis O'Brien graduated from Queens College in New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also attended CW Post in New York and earned a Masters of Science degree. Phyllis has taught in various special education settings and in second and third grade classrooms. She has been teaching third grade at Tanglen Elementary since 1994.

Lori O'Neil has been teaching in Hopkins since 2008. She graduated from St. Scholastica Duluth, Mn in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

Ole Olson has been a Physical Education Teacher in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1992.

Lucy Perman has a bachelors degree in foreign language education and an ELL certification from Hamline University. She has been teaching at Tanglen since 1996.

Carolyn Petruga has been with the Hopkins School District since 2007.

Kim Rossow has been teaching 6th grade at Tanglen Elementary since the fall of 2011.

Kari Samuelson graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has been teaching in the Hopkins District since 1988. She has taught first, second, fifth, and sixth grades.

Kristine Sand has taught first grade at Tanglen for more than 15 years. She received her BA from the College of St. Benedict and her Masters of Education from Mankato State University in Educational Experience.

Pam Soltis began teaching in the Hopkins School District in 1990 after earning a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa.

Beth graduated from Northern Illinois University. Beth has taught Art, Special Education, Fifth Grade, and Second Grade in rural, urban, and suburban settings.

Joan Stole has been the Licensed School Nurse at Tanglen since 1993. She is a registered nurse with past experience in hospital nursing as well as in public health nursing. She graduated from St Olaf College.

Vicki Thompson graduated with a BA degree from DePauw Univerisity and with a MA degree from the University of Michigan.

Lori Thonander has been teaching in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1992. Previously she taught in Minnetonka as a classroom teacher. She continues to teach at Tanglen as a Title 1 teacher for grades K-6.

Todd Throne has been teaching in Hopkins since 1991. He earned his B.S degree at the University of Minnesota. He has a masters degree from Minnesota State in Experiential Education. Along with his teaching, Todd has helped coach the girls gymnastics team at Hopkins High School and currently teaches gymnastics at TAGS gymnastics Academy in Eden Prairie.

David Trapp received his BS in Music from the University of Minnesota, and his MA from St. Cloud State University.  He has been a Public School Band Director in Minnesota since 1979.

Tony has worked in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1999, beginning his career at North Jr. High.

Kayla graduated with her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2009.

Michael Yasis has been teaching 5^th grade at Tanglen Elementary since 1996.
