Ms. Johnson graduated from St. Olaf College in 1999, and received her Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. She earned certification in gifted and talented education from Hamline University. She has been working at Hopkins West Junior High since the 1999-2000 school year. She is the Gifted and Talented Services coordinator at West, and the math department chair.
