Thank you for your interest in Hopkins West Junior High! You may want to begin your registration process by scheduling a tour for your family with Student Services (952-988-4416) before you begin the registration process.

Residents of Hopkins

Students that are coming from a charter or private school, home school, or are new to the Hopkins community should follow one of these two processes.

Registering at West Junior High

Begin by calling WJH Student Services (952-988-4416) to make sure that West is the school that applies to your home address. An appointment will be made with a counselor to explain, fill out and hand in enrollment paperwork, as well as select appropriate classes for your child's grade level.

Registering at North Junior High

Students who's home address is associated with West Junior High who would like to attend North Junior High need to fill out our In-District Transfer Request Form and our In-District Transfer Transportation Form. The approval processes for these requests are accepted at our District Office starting January 15th. Return instructions are on the forms and requests will be considered in the order they are received. Transportation is not guaranteed by making a request.

If and when your request is accepted, contact Student Services (952-988-4811) and an appointment will be made with a counselor to explain, fill out and hand in enrollment paperwork, as well as select appropriate classes for your child's grade level.

For either of the previous options you will need to provide:

• Proof of Residency
• Proof of Guardianship

• A transcript or report card from your student's previous school

Non-Residents of Hopkins

Any student wishing to attend Hopkins Schools but is not a resident of the district (this includes Open Enrollment and The Choice Is Yours) needs to contact Pat Wright, Open Enrollment Specialist at (952) 988-4003
