Hopkins High School employs six full-time professional school counselors who work with students according to their last names.  The counselors are available via appointment before, during, and after school.  

EVENTS/NEWS

2/21/13, COLLEGE PLANNING NIGHT, 4:45 PM, HHS LITTLE THEATER: The HHS Counselors offered a "College Planning Night" presentation for parents/guardians of 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students during the HHS Parent-Teacher Conferences on 2/21.  A PDF copy of the presentation can be downloaded below.

2/4, LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: The local scholarship application is now available to seniors who plan to go to college!  Visit the "Scholarships" page (link on the left) or direct your student to the application, which is available only to HHS students through Google Docs.

Scholarships

There are many resources to search for scholarships.  The Hopkins "Family Connection" website contains a list of local, regional, and national scholarships, as well as a search tool for finding more.  Students are encouraged to start with Family Connection for their scholarship search.  If you are not a registered Family Connection user, you can contact your guidance counselor OR log in as a guest using the link on the right side of the log-in page.
