Test Scores (for the class of 2011):

  • SAT mean critical reading: 613
  • SAT mean math:  632
  • ACT composite: 23.3
  • Note: Approximately 11% of HHS students took the SAT tests and 79% took the ACT tests in 2011.
  • AP Exams: In 2011, 521 students took 766 AP exams, with 70% scoring 3 or higher.


Graduation and Post High School Plans:

  • 83% of Hopkins High School's graduates go on to attend post-secondary institutions. 
  • In the Class of 2011, 67% planned to attend 4-year colleges, 12% 2-year colleges, and 4% vocational-technical schools. 

 

Student Awards:

  • 7 U.S. Presidential Scholars
  • 25 National Council of Teachers of English Achievement Awards in Writing
  • Individual national award-winners in debate, journalism, art National History Day, science, television production, and technology.
  • 108 AP awards in 2011, 28 AP Scholars with Distinction, 26 AP Scholars with Honor, and 1 National AP Scholars.
