Imagination & Book Fair - March 12, 2009

Congratulations to all of our students that entered their outstanding projects in our Imagination Fair! Projects included inventions, creative writing, science projects, experiments, works of art and music. Many thanks to Mrs. Merickel for organizing the event. Thanks also to Carolyn Vander Velden and the crew of parent helpers for organizing the Book Fair. The night was a colossal success. We hope that you will view our slide show.

Third Grade World Communities' Day - February 23, 2009

As a culmination to their world communities' unit, students spent Monday afternoon experiencing world cultures. Students learned to use chop sticks, played a Peruvian game, received Indian henna tattoos, and tried yummy treats from all over the world. View a slide show of the event.

Fifth Grade Concert - February 2009

Wow! Our fifth graders sang, danced, played the recorder and read poetry that they had written. Teri Larson, music teacher, did a phenomenal job working with this talented group of students. Thanks also to their teachers, Liz Ogren, Michelle Ham, Wendy Graves and Stephanie Bell for inspiring our students to write such wonderful poetry. Please view our slide show from the concert.
