The Glen Lake chess program prides itself on having one of the largest and most successful elementary chess programs in the state of Minnesota. The club continues to have one primary goal: To have fun playing chess.

The chess club meets most Fridays during the school year at 8:00 a.m. in the school library.  Although transportation is not provided, we'd be happy to look at car pool options for those needing assistance getting to the school.

There are several ways to sign up for the club: 1)You can register at the Glen Lake Open House each September; 2) You can return forms to your teacher that are available from them during the 2nd or 3rd week of school each year; 3) You can show up at chess club and join on the spot.
