Laura Arndt is a Hopkins native and graduate of Hopkins Lindbergh High School.  She has worked as an Assurance of Mastery Paraprofessional since 1998.

Tracey graduated from Augsburg College in 1997, double majoring in Elementary Education and Women's Studies.

Jill Bloedorn has been working in the Hopkins School District since 2003. Prior to Hopkins, she worked as an ELL/English Immersion teacher in Santa Ana, California and an English Immersion Teacher in Concepcion, Chile.

Wendy Dellis has been working as a special education teacher in the Hopkins Public Schoolssince 2001.

Dione Des Lauriers has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1985.

Heidi Farner started her teaching career at Gatewood in 1999. She taught Spanish, second grade, and third grade.

Betty Foulkes taught in Illinois for seven years in sixth and fourth grades before working for the Hopkins Public Schools as a substitute teacher.

Heather Frary has been teaching English Language Learners in the Hopkins School District since 1999. Prior to teaching in Hopkins, Heather taught in elementary and junior high classrooms in Wisconsin and Forest Lake, Minnesota.

Ms. Grubb has been with Hopkins Schools since 1999.  She has taught second, fifth and third grades.  In 2006, she took a leave of absence to teach university students in southwest China.

Mrs. Hart has been with Hopkins Public Schools since 2008. Before starting at Hopkins, she taught English in Japan for three years. Mrs. Hart has been with Hopkins Public Schools since 2008. Before starting at Hopkins, she taught English in Japan for three years. She has her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and her graduate degree in ESL Education from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.

Jim Ikhaml has been working in the Hopkins District, as a fifth-grade teacher at Gatewood, since 2001.

Karen Jensen earned her BS degree from the University of Minnesota. She has taught in the Hopkins Public Schools for over 25 years. She has taught grades 2,3 and 4.

I am in my 7th year at Gatewood. I have a Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Mrs. Kloos has been teaching in the Hopkins school district since 1999. She also has coached volleyball at the elementary level.

Amy Kodet has been a media specialist since 2006 after obtaining her Media licensure from Minnesota State University - Mankato.

Sara Lacey has been teaching in the Hopkins School District since 2001. She has taught second, third and fourth grade, and coaches elementary soccer.

Ann Marie received her degree from the College of St. Therese.

Dawn Lindblom has been teaching in the district since 2005.

Deb earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in 1983 and began working for Intermediate School District 287 in the Special Education Department in 1984. Deb Lund has been an Occupational Therapist in the Hopkins School District since 1998

Kay McCarthy has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2000. Starting as a substitute teacher and Learning Resource Teacher, she began teaching Kindergarten in the fall of 2005. She highly values being a part of the beginning of a student's elementary school years.

Miss McGuire has been teaching in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2002.

Lori Palesch has been in the district since 1991. She has taught at Hopkins High School, Katherine Curren, and is currently teaching at Gatewood Elementary.

Lisa Rickman has been teaching fifth and sixth grade band in the Hopkins School District since 1999. She previously taught elementary and junior high band in Hartford, South Dakota and Forest Lake, Minnesota.

Katie Schmidt has been a classroom teacher in the Hopkins District since 2003. She also taught for the Minneapolis Urban League and spent time teaching at a charter school in Saint Paul before joining Hopkins Public Schools.

Ms. Serdar started her career at  Gatewood in 1999!

Mrs. Woodburn has been teaching in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1987.
