Gatewood school is an International Peace Site, and we have a Peace Garden that needs a clean-up in the fall and in the spring.

 

Monthly Friday Mornings, Assist in prepping, popping and bagging popcorn for students' snacks.

Throughout the school year, every week -OR- every other week -OR- one day a month, anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour a session.

Art Booster jobs could include hanging students' art in the hallways, organizing supplies in the art room, or assisting in the classroom - helping the students get their supplies, cleaning up spills, sitting with a child that might be frustrated, and working with students on a variety of projects.

Shelving books in the Media Center/Library is a perpetual need.

The Gatewood Student Wellness Council is a group of staff members, students, and parents that work together to provide information to students and parents about staying healthy while at school and at home.
