How do I register?

To register for XinXing Academy, click on the link below, complete the XinXing Academy Enrollment Application and return it by January 16, 2012. A check for a one-time, non-refundable $50 registration processing fee should be included with the enrollment application. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by February 16, 2012.

How do I open-enroll?

If you reside outside the Hopkins School District and wish to open-enroll, you will also need to complete the Open Enrollment Form for each child entering school and submit it to our district office by January 16, 2012. A link to information about the process for open enrollment is included below.

Enrollment Information

Slots are available to students from each of Hopkins Public Schools' six elementary schools, and there are openings for families who wish to open-enroll their children into the school district. Class sizes range from 21 to 27 students, with the average per class to be about 23 students.

The initial registration is open until January 16, 2012. Registration will remain open until the program is at capacity. A lottery system will be used if more children register than the program can accommodate. Applicants who are not chosen in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified promptly if a space becomes available.

Kindergarten Tuition

There is a fee for full-day kindergarten to compensate staffing expenses for the second half of the day. There are no tuition costs for grades 1–6.

• The tuition for kindergarten is $3,900 per year.

• Tuition is due by the first of the month. A $15 late fee will be assessed on all accounts past due.
• There is a one-time, non-refundable, $50 registration processing fee.
• A $300 non-refundable deposit is due two weeks after notice of acceptance. This deposit will secure your child's placement in XinXing Academy and will be applied to your child's first month's tuition.
• Scholarships are available.

Before- and After-School Care Options

Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools' premiere before- and after-school care program for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. There are a number of families from XinXing Academy who use Kids & Company. It is recommended to sign up early. More details about Kids & Company are available at the link below.
