Last week, Mpls. St. Paul Magazine announced Eisenhower Nurse Vicky White as a finalist for an Outstanding Nurses Award. Out of 270 total submissions, Nurse White is one of only three finalists in the "school nurse" category. For two weeks in May, Eisenhower/XinXing Nurse Vicky White organized a "Walk to Duluth" competition to help students become more active, eat healthier, and drink enough water. Classes raced against each other in a point-based system to see who could "walk" the furthest towards Duluth. More…
