The Alice Smith Elementary Media Center is committed to working collaboratively with staff and actively supporting academic progress. Mr. Spencer, our Media Specialist, meets with students weekly to work on computer, information and literacy skills, research, and other special projects.

• We have an "open schedule" so that students may check out books whenever there is time available in the student's classroom.


• Materials are checked out for a two-week period, but they may be exchanged or renewed at any time.


• We have a book collection of approximately 19,000 items... so there are plenty of choices!
