Question

How do high school lunches run?

Answer

Hopkins High School offers both breakfast and lunch to students, and also offers bakery, fruit, and nutritious snackes and beverages through The Depot Two. The cost for regular breakfast is $1.75, and the cost for a regular lunch is $2.95. High school students also have the option of creating their own lunch menus such as sandwiches, salads, and pizza.

Pre-payment envelopes are available in the high school kitchen for making payments to your child's lunch account with a check or cash. Students may choose to use their school meal accounts to buy breakfast, lunch, or á la carte items. Each student receives a personal identification number (PIN) to use for purchasing meals and/or á la carte items.

Beginning this fall, lunch balance, payment and purchase information will be available on the Infinite Campus parent portal. Please note: Parents will receive more information about the payment system when it is activated the week of Aug. 17. Also available on the portal is information about bus routes, attendance, immunization compliance, state and local assessments, and for secondary students-schedule, homework assignment, and grade book information. Parents who have an existing portal account will find the food service information available on their current account in mid- to late-August. Parents who do not have a portal account should send an email
