Decide which kindergaten option is right for your family.

• Half-day kindergarten is available at all schools at no cost.

• Half-day kindergarten is also offered in combination with KinderConnection, the half-day program run by Kids & Company, our school-aged childcare program. KinderConnection is fee-based.

• Kindergarten Plus, our full-day, tuition-based kindergarten program is offered at each school. Scholarships are available.

• XinXing Academy is our full-day, tuition-based Chinese immersion kindergarten program, offered to all District families and housed at Eisenhower Elementary School. Scholarships are available.

Attend Kindergarten Roundup at your child's school. No matter what your kindergarten choice, all kindergarten families are encouraged to attend their school's Kindergarten Roundup.

Make sure your child's vaccinations are up-to-date. Please bring copy of your child's vaccination record to Kindergarten Roundup. Hopkins participates in the "No Shots No School" program. Visit www.HopkinsSchools.org/kinder for information on requirements

Obtain a certified copy of your child's birth certificate. The school will need to see it and make a copy of the certified original. Please bring it to your Kindergarten Roundup.

Transportation questions? Transportation is provided for children who attend the school in their attendance area during the regular, scheduled kindergarten start and end times. Transportation is not provided to or from before- or after-school care with Kids & Company. Parents who prefer to have their child attend a school outside of their attendance area are responsible for their child's transportation.
