Minnesota Student Survey Data: A profile of our youth

The Minnesota Student Survey is a tool which accesses the general well being of our State's youth and is administered to public school students in Grades 6, 9, and 12 statewide, every three years.  The survey findings provide an in depth look at the overall attitudes, behaviors and wellness of our youth. Topics surveyed include: attitude towards school, activities, family and relationships, health and safety, mental health, substance use and sexual health.  Hopkins Public Schools has utilized this tool and its results to assess our youth and to evaluate our effectiveness of prevention work.

Other Survey Data:

Other local and national survey findings are indicators of trends and concerns about our youth.  This information also guides us in our work. Survey tools include:  Search Institute - Profile of Student Life and Monitoring the Future.
