Here you will find all the information you need to register your child for Hopkins Public Schools.  If you are not a district resident and would like to enroll in the Hopkins Schools, please see the information below on Open Enrollment and the Choice is Yours program.

In accordance with Hopkins Public Schools policy, any student (including open enrolled students) wishing to attend a school in the district is required to provide transcripts, immunization records, notice of emancipation or legal guardianship if child is residing with someone other than his/her biological parent.

What documents do I need to bring to register my child?

Proof of residency

• Documents accepted for proof of residency are:

-  Valid MN Driver's License or ID card with correct address
-  Utility bill delivered within last 30 days
-  Rent statement dated within last 30 days
-  Purchase agreement for home within district boundaries
-  Lease agreement

Proof of legal guardianship, if student is living with someone other than parent.

Transcripts or latest report card.

Immunization Record

The following documents will be needed, but are not required to register:

• Copy of current IEP, if applicable
• Birth certificate or passport
