The end of the school year, combined with the sunshine and warmer temperatures of spring, always brings a different perspective and a whole new set of issues to face.

April truly is a time of transitions; not only with the weather, but throughout every level of every school, for students, teachers, and administrators alike.

Fall to winter . . . winter to spring . . . spring to summer . . . summer to the back-to-school season. As the seasons change, so, too, do the activities of the school district.

It has become apparent that additional communications surrounding the recent weapon incident at Hopkins North Junior High would be helpful to many throughout the seven communities served by Hopkins Public Schools, as questions and concerns continue to linger.
