Over 100 colleges and universities to visit Hopkins High School

Hopkins High School is hosting its annual College Fair on Friday, March 23. Students will have the opportunity to speak with college representatives from over 100 colleges from around the region and beyond. Junior high students in ninth grade will also attend the fair as part of their College Fair field trip.

The College Fair marks the culmination of a week-long, post-secondary educational experience called College Week. During College Week teachers will explore a variety of post-secondary concepts with students, such as the difference between a college and a university, and financial aid vocabulary. Teachers will also reflect on how they chose the colleges they attended, how they paid for college, and explain what their college experiences were like. In addition, on Friday all Hopkins teachers will revisit their college days by sporting attire that represents their college.
