Hopkins West and Hopkins North Junior High Schools will be holding a fundraiser at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers store at Ridgehaven Mall from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
On that day a portion of the store's proceeds will be given to the schools to purchase books needed for their classrooms and library media centers. Vouchers are available on West's and North's websites (see below for a link to West's voucher) that must be turned in with book purchases, or the school's name needs to be mentioned prior to the purchases being rung up.
Any school district residents planning to purchase books for holiday giving are encouraged to do their shopping on that day. Teachers with educator discount cards can get 25% off all purchases that day as well.
Hopkins students will be present between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Ridgehaven Barnes & Noble is located at 13131 Ridgedale Drive in Minnetonka.
