Why does Hopkins have late-start days? What are they used for?

Answer

We have seven late-start days during the school year when all schools start two hours late. On late-start days, our teachers work together on planning and preparing learning experiences for students. The time used by teachers during the late-start days is in addition to staff development done during the summer and outside of the school day.
