I have heard that there will be some boundary-shifting/re-districting for the Hopkins Elementary schools' 2011-2012 year.

The school district has no plans to change its elementary boundaries for the 2011-2012 school year. It is the District's practice to annually examine the enrollment and use of its facilities on an annual basis. If this analysis indicates that there is limited space for students at any one building, district administration will examine transportation, construction, boundary, and staffing options to resolve the issue. This will be resolved keeping in mind the fiscal condition of the District. It is the goal of the administration to manage the buildings as efficiently as possible. Therefore there are no present plans for significant boundary changes, as occurred in the District five years ago or in neighboring districts.
